Screwed?

In U.S. elections, you're almost always talking about very small margins (both in individual races and in the total make-up of the legislature).

There is an exact 50/50 split between Democrats and Republicans in the Senate. The House remains split 56/44--only with Democrats taking the lead position. It's not as if Democrats won election in historic levels. The country is just readjusting back to center (and corporate globalist aspirations will also now shift back to center--President Bush himself has said that the time for partisanship is over) after a brief foray in MILD partisan government.

Don't raise the red flag just yet.

strange question Just how were we screwed? The people voted and we abide by the results as always. Oh thats right you must be a Gore Democrat with the philosophy that if your side loses it's because the Election was rigged. Now I get it. Come back to reality fella we didn't get screwed this election as well as the 2000 election reflected the vote. You weren't screwed then and we weren't in this election. Only a moron analogizes government to a sports team. But hey Simple minds Simple thoughts I guess. to you thoughtful liberals that have a mind of your own and don't spout drivel like so many supporters of both parties I apologize These comments are not meant for you. I usually do not engage in this behavior.

I haven't been screwed by the governement since 2 democrats ago. mr jimmy carter had some odd notions about how to run a nation. I'm sure we will be fine as long as the economic policy doesn't get to "democratisized"

Although you seem to desire being reported, censureship tends to be mostly implemented by the liberals on this site.

And I really don't see a question. More of a stupid statement. And I really am unaffected emotionally.

Sorry. Failed to provoke much of a rise.

And yet it still hasn't taken their arrogance away! I don't get it, since the elections I have seen them on here talking smack and they lost! That's like walking up to the team that just kicked your teams butt and saying " You guy's can't play worth a crap!"

What the hell is that about?

your question makes me laugh. Conservation is alive and well despite the loss of the Republican party Tuesday.
