Don't use dusters they just spread the dust around...
get a damp cloth...or swiffer has some that are really good to collect dust.Emu or ostrich feather dusters are good.
Use a shop vac with a bag installed to capture very fine dust. I found this to be the best way to capture very fine dust from sanding the plaster walls of a house I renovated.
Good Luck.
