Maybe when we get another U.N. @ss kisser like Clinton. The rest of the world will like us (as if it ever has).
Wake up. It is jealousy and hate of freedom that causes us to be disliked.
It is much better to be hated for what we are than loved for what we are not.

I'm unsure we ever had it.

After we show our military strength through necessity, there are countries (and people) that get edgy, saying that we will use our military without careful consideration. That is what I think people are claiming right now.... so to speak.

Our 'friends' in this world are less concerned about us protecting ourselves with good reason, and more concerned about if the United States gets fed up with their childish stupidity and deals out a beating of a life time.

Let's face it, it takes a lot for the United States Military to stand up and start beating on people with out restraint (we restrain ourselves way to much I think). Truth is, we could easily turn our enemies into glass, but that is not what we are about. But as our 'friends' continue to push the envelope and try to get what they can from the US and take advantage of our generosity, they will also scream 'unfair and America is mean' as a defense to gain world support in case we do say enough is enough.

We've been very good neighbors to the rest of the world and very few nations recognize that. We have been good stuarts of what we have and how we share, but few nations think it's good enough. We have come to the aid and defense of millions in this world and we get cheers during it, and complaints after wards.

They are willing to give countries like China a pass on environmental concerns and insist that the US pays other countries (in hard cash of course) if our far more stricter environmental standards are violated. It's just another way to steal from the US and then say we are mean.

There are countless examples of this. So, long story short, until the US is robbed blind by jealous countries, and even after wards, there will still be no trust. It's a pipe dream to expect an outward trust to be displayed.

Of course, when push comes to shove, you know they can trust to come running to the US and ask for something. And of course, we give both publicly and privately.

Why would the world trust a country who shows no untied front and not only doesn't support it's own goverment but tries to bring it down every chance it gets. Then you got the media distorting and downright lying to them with it's biased liberal reporting even handing them goverment secrets! Now does this sound trustworthy? We get attacked but we don't want any kind of retatiation, would you want to invest in a country who won't even protect it's own interests let alone theirs? It isn't just up to the goverment to try to get our trust back, it's up to us also. We most of all cause we elect these people and have a voice.

A whole lot of time.

I'd love to see our government over-hauled. It seems far too complicated to run at all!! We waste an insane amount of money on red tape and bureaucracy.

If all our own ducks are not in a row, why should anyone else have any kind of trust in us?

To live by the rules and stop pissing people off by stealing their resources! We have a long history of doing that! And quite bullying people! Our destiny is not to change the world to a democracy by force!! Doesn't that sound moronic?

Other country's can't rely on the US to do what the say they will! They see us a psychotic! And maybe they are right!

What friends Dakota? The English are getting rid of Blair as well!

Who cares? Who gives a rats rear end what the rest of the world thinks of us? What does that gain? The USA has gone to the rescue of many nations in the past, saved them from tyranny, natural disasters, economic hardship, famine and such things as these only to have these same ungrateful countries turn around and spit in our eye. So again I ask, who gives a damn what they think?
