If you could grant a dying man's wish by giving him an item you had to sell and forgo the profit you would make selling that item, would you grant that poor dying man's wish, or ignore him and go ahead and make the profit?

This is a very deep question. It will take a lot of consideration.
Say an automobile was up for sale on eBay. Just for fun, let's say it is a classic auto, a Buick GS for instance.
First to be considered is, "Exactly HOW much is a Buick GS WORTH?" and exactly how MUCH profit goes out the window when selling out of desperation. The words "Had To Sell" indicates the very same sort of desperation involved of which I speak. Perhaps the only "profit" is the sellers' peace of mind.
THEN some poor dude on the road to The Pearly Gates has the bloody nerve to request that the car be gifted to him? What's up with THAT? After all we are ALL dying from the moment we're born. Why is HE special?
Add to the formula, if you will, the constant haranguing of the seller by CLOWNS, from all sides; one who demands dying gratuities, one who demands to be relocated, one from afar who says their positive feedback is in jeopardy should the car not be allowed to sell. Perhaps the selling party should consider taking said auto, and FLEEING with it to unknown parts.
Just how important is the dying man's wish who will swallow all pride and demand that the car be gifted to himself, in view of his imminent passage from this life? (see Franke_'s answer)
Of course, this is all hypothetical.
It all boils down to "Which is more important? The cheering up of somebody who's just gonna croak anyway? Or the long, happy lifetime in a super cool place that the meager sales revenue might provide for some selfish LIVING people?

A dying mans wish is of the utmost importance. This is the last thing that they speak and it's what they want to happen as the last thing they do in this world. I personally have had to bear several dying wishes simply because I was there when they died and they spoke their last breaths to me. Most are simply tell the family I love them but some were actually to do something for them back in the States. I hope you never have to bear a dying mans wish, but if you ever do you'll know what it's worth. I will never forget the names or faces of the men who spoke to me then died.

This is the most difficult question you have EVER Posted. This is really fooling with the karma wheel.

Be safe, choose the kind route, give it to the man, and do not give it another thought. the profits will return to you someday in the future greater than you would acquired by the selling of the desirable object.

That depends, is this a joke or ?
Are you sure the man is dying or is it just a scam?

If it was real, yes I would try to give him his wish. A good person would do this without even hesitating.
