(class elections) we were running against each other and i voted for her, when i thought she was voting 4 me all along she didnt i thot i was her bff. It really hurt me, i felt like she betrayed me.

You should never assume that your best friend will support you when both of you are pitting each other in any sort of quiz, class election etc. Coz most people always think of the benefit they can gain ahead of others, so it is not surprising if they don't show their support for you. You must learn all these through experiences

Look at it this way: At least you are learning about real world situations in school. Get use to it. It's part of life. When you get out of school, you will face things so much worse than this.
Now what you need to decide is if you will let a petty little thing like this end your friendship.

She is her own bestfriend. You need to be true to yourself first and for most and she was that when she voted. In her mind it wasn't a vote against you it was a vote for her.

She didn't betray you she didn't like what you stood for. What sense is there in voting for one another that simply destroys two votes, she voted for herself and you were the dummy! Bravo for her, she believed in herself!
