I think a lot of products depend on "whether they work for you personally"-- a makeup base I love might not be the right shade, or be the type you are looking for, etc. I loved Avon for the lipsticks most especially- because I constantly would buy a lipstick that looked "blue based", and get it home and it was "orangy"... and it looked horrid on me. Their lipsticks are separated into "cool", "warm' and "neutral'-- and i know if i purchase any of the cool tones, they look smashing on me.

i used to be an avon representative. some of the creams are nice and the eyeliner was really good. but the powder and the foundation i dont suggest that. any jewelry or accesories forget about it. nails stuff yup get some it was nice. all i can say in short there are some things that are worth it and some of them are not. but they are really affordable. u wanna use avon be an avon representativre so u can earn money depends on your sale and also u can geta discount for you.

I don't care for Avon products. You have better luck with aloette.

Personally,
i used to be skeptical about avon because i just thought it was cheap knock off makeup. but i started ordering some of the eyshadows and the full line of skin care and i couldnt be happier!!! i have no more acne, or acne scars and people are always asking me where i get my eye makeup from. i love avon!

I like them I think most of them work very well. I dont wear makeup but I know alot of people prefer Avon makeup

I actually love Avon mascara and I get the chapsticks also

hey, good question.
i got a catalog once upon a time.... and i ended up ordering, like every product i could possibly want out of it... it's all so affordable!
but, i agree with what some others have been saying... the foundation and mascara aren't top quality.
to try out new colors and products, its a good deal.
oh, and i was thinking it would probably be a good place to go for some holiday gifts??

I think it's a cheap version of Mary Kay and I think Mary Kay is not all that. I think you can get nice colors of lipstick and eye shadow, but that's about it...I feel the same about Mary Kay. Their cleansers and other products do nothing for me.

avon products are cheap, try mary kay... less alcohol and more premium ingreidients.
