Ad-Aware is a respected program that removes junk from your computer. Did your new computer come with any antivirus software? I recommend that you get some if you don't have any, and keep it updated. If you are running WinXP, make sure you have SP2, there were many security updates.

The google toolbar and yahoo toolbar both come with popup blockers, you could use one of those.

You might consider running both Ad-Aware and Spybot. They are both fre and do an excellent job.

If it was working OK the first couple days then use system restore to turn back the clock. Other than that try temporarily disabling you adware/spyware programs by right clicking the icons in the lower right hand system tray and and turning them off and experimenting to see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't try removing any new programs in the add remove programs option in the control panel.

PS: I have never had any problems with the program AdAware.

I would try uninstalling ad-aware and reinstall it. If that doesn't help, maybe you should consider stopping using internet explorer. 90% of all adware, spyware and viruses come from using internet explorer. Firefox is much more secure and has a bunch of excellent add-ons that people LOVE (like if you accidentally click off a site, you can get it back). http://getfirefox.com/

Yes delete it and see if you still get the message. I would also do a clean up with ccleaner
