Yes, that was last year when I left the Philippines. I stayed in California x 6 months. There is no place like home. Mas masarap ang pagkain d2 sa Pilipinas. There is more to adobo, menudo, kare-kare, bagoong, crispy pata! Have you tried our halo-halo?
You should stay here Christmas season. Though the Philippines is a 3rd world country, this is the best place to spend your Christmas! You should see the Bamboo organ here in Las Pinas & the lanterns being made & sold here. The department stores here in the Philippines has the Christmas spirit starting September. You can hear Christmas song in the radios. You should also see Imus, Cavite at night during the Christmas season. The street is well decorated & each street has its own design. It is the Christmas Capital of the Philippines. You should taste puto bungbong with hot tea after the midnight mass! Hey, its only in the Philippines!

I've been in the US for 7 years and I'm still homesick >_<; It's nice here in the US and everything, but really, there's no place like home, as corny as that sounds. Haha. My mom cooks Filipino food sometimes, but we always eat rice. That's like the main constant food we eat that reminds me of the Philippines. But the food you mentioned sounds gooood right now! I want some halo-halo, even though it's like winter here -_-; Just talking about it makes me want the food more. lol.
