They are all great films with plenty of twists. I would call them more a suspense thriller than an actual horror film. They will scare you but thats the fun of it. Make up your own mind about it, but if you didnt want to thats cool. You dont have to watch any film you dont want to.

I haven't seen them and I don't have any plans to. My sister watched #2 with a couple friends when it was released on dvd and, as a seasoned horror film viewer, she was barely able to sit through it and she said she knew that I wouldn't be able to do so. That does not mean that I strictly watch only G-rated movies, as nearly everyone on this site says you obviously must do, no exceptions, if you won't see the Saw series. A handful of my favorite movies are gory but I just don't have any desire to see these. There's nothing wrong with that.

That said, there is a huge difference between excessive gore and psychological thrillers. I love the latter but I can't stomach the former. There is a number of very intense psychological thrillers that don't incorporate horror and gore at all so you can't blindly lump them both into the same genre. However this one seems to combine those into one, but that is a rarity.

I haven't seen them either...they go beyond what I can handle as far as horror movie gore. Not to put the series down...they're just not my taste. I like the old horror movies instead, like Dracula with Christopher Lee...or the 50s sci-fi horror movies. So I see what you mean...it's all just a matter of what your tastes are.

yeah, I could desire to believe you in this, the digicam angles and lighting fixtures became into horrid, the ending became into crap, no person survived, and the action picture gave the look to be filmed in merely like 3 distinctive rooms. you may tell they tried yet they tried to not undemanding and ruined the verbal substitute, for sure removing some distance to lots, and adjusted it with aimless killing. the main difficulty i had with it became into there became into no closure on the top, merely besides the DVD became right into a pirated one, in any different case it could have been an entire became into of money. additionally, putting "crap" into your DVD participant isn't sturdy for it, it is going to wreck the electronics and short circuit issues, besides as harm the focal Lens.

I have heard enough about the gore and needless violence against random individuals to be turned off by the premise, and besides most respected critics gave II & III lackluster reviews.
