I liked Borat, and then a part of me didn't like it. I found it funny and then it's not so funny. It's really a little difficult to explain exactly what I am feeling. I think as you said it is insulting, and that's probably why I feel as I do. I'm sure you probably understand what I'm saying, don't you? I would never go back to watch it a second time. Texas girl

I nearly pi**ed myself laughing when I saw the film. The only Americans who should find it insulting are the ones on the screen and the ones who share the racist, homophobic and mysoginistic views that were exposed. Don't forget that Sacha made fun of plenty of British people as his other characters, and I am not offended by any of it.
P.S. the naked fight scene was both repulsive and hilarious at the same time.

I find the movie very entertaining, but that might be because I'm not an ignorant, hypocritical red neck, nor am I a drunk early 20s pompous male. I really enjoyed the movie because it was not only hilarious, but still hinted at some of the insecurities and stereotypes that Americans have, and how Americans deal with those stereotypes being pushed upon them. Further, it was even more interesting to see how these people acted after being told it was going to go on TV in Kazakhstan, and they acted so poorly it truly shows why we have such a bad stereotype in other countries.

I found him funny at first, but I didn't go to the movies to see a 300 pound man jacking off and later 69 Borat. That was just it for me, among other things. I'm not watching that one again, ever. I almost threw up.

Sometimes he can be sooo insulting but then we all like laughing at others discomfort. I do feel he needs a slap now and again as he loses sight of reality now and again, but yes i find him hilarious:)

Most of them are too thick to understand it and most of them probably think he is a real person! Why do ya think Sasha choose the States to make the film in??

I think it's funny. Insulting to some, but funny to me. I wouldn't watch it though in the movie theaters. Wait to rent it. Not worth the $10 bucks.
