yeah...i know its because the movie is still in the theater...but come on....4,5,6 months after the release wow.

Piracy is the reason. If every one is willing to buy dvd for personal viewing, the producer wud be willing to release it simultaneously with its release in the theatres.

For the most part it has to do with the movie still being presented in Theaters around the world (meaning squeezing as much $$$ as possible) and then the fact that the remastering process is pretty intense compiled with how many movies must be converted to DVD at any given time...

Look on the bright side, it used to take a couple years before they released anything decent on DVD. Now it's just 6 months (usually around summer and X-Mas).

i dont know but you would of thought that with the speed of the pirate dvd industry they would try and get them out a bit quicker
