First thing, talk to your dad and give him the chance to make it right first. If he refuses, your mom has the right to know about what's going on in her marriage, then the two of them need to reach a decision of where to go from there.
I don't envy you being in the middle. Even if your dad dumps his mistress and goes back fully to your mom, you still have the knowledge that he cheated and it will forever change your opinion of him.

call the person leaving the messages...find out who it is. if it inst your mom then ask whoever it is what is up, tell her who you are and then talk to your mom right after. it isnt right for you to be in this position at all but you need to tell your mom what is going on and leave it at that. if your dad asks you why you inquired with the other woman then i hate to say it...your dad isnt a very nice person. i dont want to say what i really think about him because i feel that if you cheat on your spouse you are cheating on your whole family you know. so...you and your mom deserve better...do what you think is best but i just think you need to tell your mom once you verified from the source that it is another woman.

I wouldnt say a word. Your mom knows your dad well enough to know what is going on. Most people that cheat usually use payphones or disposable phones. They go places unexpectly and act strange when the person they are having an affair with is around. Even if she finds out and calls him out on it, he will still continue to do it. It's a lose lose situation. It can be a opportunity for your mom to start a new life for herself.

It's best to steer clear of these situations. If you expose your dad, your motives will be questioned, relationships will become strained, no one will thank you for exposing the affair. Or think about it this way, If your dad caught you cheating, how would you feel if he told your wife? At the end of the day, it's an issue between your parents, don't place yourself in the middle of it.

If this were his first offence I would say talk to him. But, there is a pattern here. Tell your mom only if youare sure.
She is being abused big time. She needs to realize she deserves a good man. No amount of love on her part can change him.

Give the phone to your mom and tell her you found those messages and was just wondering who they came from. After that, it's in her court to deal with.
I'm so sorry that your dad is a complete jerk. He doesn't deserve a child as smart and aware as you.

Show the phone to your Mom...She needs to know this. Maybe this will finally give her the strength she needs to wake up and end this emotional abuse. SHOW YOUR MOM THE PHONE.

me, personally, I would try to call the woman and see if she would give up any details or text her like you are your dad adn see what info. she gives up. then, I would go to my mom seperately and see what she wants to do about it, give her the heads up adn the opportunity with the upper hand (this may be the last straw for and she may need time to get herself together to leave). I'll talk to my mom first then be there for her to support her; then give her time to see what she wants to do.

As your Mom is the innocent party, you should tell her..
Don't worry about telling your Dad...
Your Dad already knows...
And I'm sure your Mom will remind him...
