Thou art God.
God is everything; you simply cannot try to conceptualize him as a separate entity. Most religions try to provide a simple image, but this leads you down the wrong path.
God is you. God is me. God is the grass. God is the water that seeps into their roots. God is all sparrows, and God is all cats. To say that God notes every sparrow that falls is ridiculous because God can't NOT notice, because he is everything and he understands all which exists and goes on, unlike a human who doesn't have a clue about what their own circulatory system is doing. When a cat stalks and kills a sparrow, they are acting out God's thoughts. When grass feels the sun, it is God feeling. When you think, it is God thinking. You are God.

God is mans answer for the unanswered questions... there is God it is the thing in u that keeps u alive.. its the name u give to all thats good and all that u would ask others to follow and appreciate. He is the one who keeps u from doing the wrong... He is God

If God was supposed to protect his followers, where was he during the Holocaust or when Stalin was busy during the 20s and 30s? What's his 'big' plan for creating predation, diseases, parasites, child rape, natural calamities? Do the techtonic plates worry about the numbers killed when they start colliding into each other? Does that planet killing asteroid bearing down us worry about the untold millions that will be doomed off? I think not.
The God is fanciful thinking among the faithful flock....a totally distorted worldview.

God is in you, in me and everywhere. We Hindu believe that Heart is the temple and God resides there. That is why when we meet other people we join our hands (palms together), bow down in front of the other person, and say Namaste, Namaskar, or Pranam. The Lord dwells in the heart of every human being. This joining of hands symbolizes the meeting of two souls, our real self actually meets Itself. This signifies reverent Salutations and Unity of Souls.
