I support it equally as much as heterosexuality.
Same-sex parents have been proven time and again to produce children as healthy and well-adjusted as those kids who have two opposite-sex parents; they are substantially more healthy and better adjusted than those children raised in foster care or abusive homes.
Homosexuality is perfectly "healthy" as it is as normal, healthy, and valid as heterosexuality, it just occurs in a smaller percentage of the population.

There is nothing wrong with it except from a religious point of view. Unless we are going to enforce one religion on all people equally then let people love other people how they want to.
They say that the church and state must stay separate but the state only recognizes couples as united if it is based on religious norms. That is religious bias from the state. They have no business giving people tax breaks and special privileges due to religious preference.
Edit: I wonder if the some one can sue the state for giving preferential treatment to people based on religion because a house hold is a house hold even if it does not meet the current religious norms. That just goes to show you that we are in dictatorship even though the majority are comfortable and don't see the chains
Personally I am not gay. I try to follow the christian view points but I do not want this country to limit my freedom by imposing their view of god on me. As we all know every ones view of god is different and that would be Pandoras box

Well some kids don't even have a mom or a dad so what does it matter if they have two dads or two moms? There's nothing to show that it's unhealthy. In fact I wouldn't doubt that those kids grow up to be more respectful and open minded. Which we need a lot more of in this world.
As for homosexuals, more power to them. Whatever makes them happy is fine by me.

I don't really care. Some people say that it is a sin, well so is the war and killing people is far worst than seeing two men kissing. I don't see what the big deal is .I have a gay friend and they go to church more than me.I think people are just discriminating.

Well, I don't approve of the act of homosexuality. I'm a christian and believe that it is a sin which is recorded in the Bible. But I feel that instead of hating we should love instead. God isn't a God of hate. God loves us unconditionally and in the Bible He teaches us to do the same.
I have extended family who is gay and I love them because they are wonderful loving and generous people. I've also had friends that are gay and although I haven't seen them in awhile, I wouldn't mind seeing them again, you know just to talk and get up-to-date.
People who are homosexual though have to be diligent with their partners and practice safe sex just like heterosexuals. There is AIDS and other std's that we all have to be careful of.
God does not condone this type of lifestyle though. Again, God loves us all unconditionally, but He doesn't love our sins. I'm a sinner just like everybody else on this planet and He doesn't love my sins, but He still loves me.

Personally I think the most important thing is love. There are many roads in life, and even though any path wiring away from the "norm" is a difficult path, people should be free from doubt and fear.
And because love=happiness. People have the right to be happy that way.

One of my very best friends in the world is gay. Being around him i know it was never a choice. As much as i watched him suffer with the effects it had on his family and himself. I support gays because its not an easy road to travel, mommyblues

BIBLE SAYS ITS A SIN...... RELIGION VIEW..
IF A PERSON DOES NOT FOLLOW SCRIPTURE THEN WHY ONE ONE BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO ANOTHER'S RELIGIOUS VEIWPOINT?
I SURE DON'T AGREE WITH ABORTION
BUT I WILL NOT KILL/HARM ANOTHER TO PREVENT A PERSON FROM OBTAINING ONE.
I DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT--
GOD DID NOT GIVE ANY AUTHORITY TO MAN TO FORCE A WOMAN NOT TO HAVE AN ABORTION..
NOT HEALTHY GAY LIFE STYLE--MEDICAL EVIDENCE POUNDS THAT EVERYDAY AND NEITHER IS PROSTITUTION..OR ADULTERY.
IF HOMOSEXUALITY IS GOING TO BE ENFORCED THEN ADULTERY HAS TO BE A CRIMINAL ACT ALSO.

No, as a Christian, but I don't hate them. Actually, most of the gay people I know are very nice.
