When I enable system properties to show me only modes that this monitor can display, it shows upto 1024 X 768 at 70 Hz. But it only supports upto 1024X768 at 60 HZ. When I set resolution to 1024 X 768 at 70 Hz, the monitor gets out of frequency. Why this happens.

This means that my Monitor can Support 1024X768 at 70 Hz, as per Windows, but it gets out of resolution at that resolution.

My friend do not rely on the resolution chart which is provided by Windows. Most often then not Windows just picks up a comman resolution list for any monitor. Bcoz usually people don't install the right monitor drivers during setup. Please check your monitor manual & find out the maximum resolution & refresh rate. However, you should not see a major difference when you see a picture at 60hz or 70hz, coz that just signifies refresh rate of the screen.
