what makes me happy is open-mindedness. kindness. reading. writing, painting, listening to rain fall on the roof, hot chocolate, good food, sleeping and waking up refreshed. doing anything i want to do, going on adventures, watching the sun rise or set, reading, making someone else happy, sounding smart sometimes, star gazing, dreaming of everything i want to be, hoping, wishing, singing my heart out, watching an uplifting movie, getting a letter in the mail - a hand-written one - from someone who loves me, fruit makes me pretty happy...people who know how to spell correctly, and who use good grammar, who will do anything with me and will have an awesome time. people who are totally chill and people who can read. my family and some good friends. life makes me happy most of the time, when i really think about it...i could pretty much go on forever, but i think that's enough :)

The things that make me happy are usually small, like the laughter of one of my grandchildren,the twinkle in the eyes of my children,a great conversation with my best friend,watching a dragonfly,peaking at nature,a great perfume,a good hot cup of tea,a really good love story,and sometimes just a candy bar.

The little things in life books, classical music, cute toys and crafts, to grand ideas, knowing people care is a good way to cheer me up or something sweet.

- Coming home to a clean house after a tough day at work
- Enjoying a good meal with good friends -
- Lighting candles on a cold evening and snuggling under my favorite quilt with my hubby
- Seeing pure joy on my son's face when he boards the plane for a flying lesson
- Walking through the mall when it's decorated for Christmas
- Getting hugs from all the elderly people in our church each Sunday!
