In my part of the country, a rick of firewood is half of a cord. Since a cord is a tightly stacked pile of wood measuring 4' x 4' x 8' (two rows of 2' wood), a rick would measure 4' high by 2' wide by 8' long.

Good luck with your wood purchase.

A rick of wood can be a face cord: 128 cubic feet of wood
or a stack of wood 4' high x 8' wide, with 4' long logs.

A rick of wood can also be a pile of logs cross stacked with each layer put at 90 degrees the the next layer. This makes it better when drying the wood.

I checked out Whd's website and I have the more exact answer.

Cord is 4 feet length x 4 feet wide x 8 feet long
Half cord is 2 feet length x 4 feet wide x 8 feet in long
Rick is 16-18 inches length x 4 feet wide x 8 feet long
Half rick is 16-18 inches length x 4 feet wide x 4 feet long

Some fireplaces cannot burn 2 feet long logs so the rick was created to have logs shorter to burn in smaller fireplaces.

RICK? NEVER HEARD IT..
BUT CORD IS 8' X 4 ' X 4 '

YOUR RICK MIGHT BE HALF THAT BECAUSE THAT IS PICK-UP LOAD. HALF CORD.

I don't think it's a precise measurement, just a pile. I could be wrong.
