I know none of my friends are impotent... but that's not really a topic that I discuss with my family so there could be some that are. My best guess would be that family would be more impotent.

Which is more important?
I was told a long time ago that don't get to pick your family, but you CAN choose your firiends.
(take that any way that you want to)
Family fights, and doesn't speak for years...but is always family...and is supposed to be there for each other. (And you always have Mom and Dad to make your siblings feel bad if they aren't)
Friends fight, but they make up and are always there for each other.
Bonus- If you have a fight with a friend and don't make up, you aren't friends any longer.
If you have a fight with family, you can't get rid of them.
As for which is more impotent?
Family- I dont want to know
Friends- I KNOW that I would hear about this... from either the wife or the husband...

Whoa!!! I haven't taken a survey to find out whether my family members have more sexual dysfunction than my friends.
Now if you are asking about which is more important, it depends on the family. If the family is very dysfunctional and not supportive of the person, then I would say friends.
If the family is very supportive of the person, I would say family
