I've lived in the western part of Ky for 27 years and it is honestly a great place to live. There is the countryside and a larger metropolis is never too far away (nashville, evansville, louisville, cincinnati). The people are very friendly here and quite honestly many parts are beautiful. We also have abundent wildlife.

I like it allot. Kentucky is also the home to many things in the U.S.......the moon bow, KFC, coal mines, bourbon, Kentucky derby, Ale8, mammoth cave, Fort Knox (which holds the country's gold), and allot of other things. There are rednecks there but its all good. The people in general are very friendly.

If you mean the state in general, I think it is nice. We went to the derby a few years ago and had to stay way down in Mamouth and had to drive 90 miles to Louisville so we saw a little bit of the country. We actually stayed in a DRY COUNTY and were surprised because we had never heard of such a thing. Its always interesting to travel out of your normal area and see the rest of the country .
