The Wii only comes with so many cables and accessories.. What else will I have to buy that isn't included in the game console package? Like to get on the internet and to play multi-player games and stuff? Does anyone know?

Make sure you have a Wifi capable modem, or a USB adapter. Im having to get one last minute becuase I was under the impression that I could connect using a spare ethernet cable, but I cannot find evidence to prove that I can.

If you want to play the downloadable games on their virtual console then you could buy a points card. You use Wii points to buy the games.

The system has internal flash memory, so a memory card is not absolutely needed but I reccomend it. If you want to use the Wii Photos Channel you need a SD memory card to transfer the files to the Wii. The card also serves as a place to save games and downloaded content. Im just going to use my back up card for my digital camera.

And yes the package comes with both a Wii mote and a nunchuck attachment.

As simple as it can get. Games. The internet service is going to come with it and the online games aren't coming out until 2007. The most important tihng though is buying 3 days of time to play it!

Ben B pretty much hit the answer, but to answer his question: Yes, you can connect the Wii through a ethernet-USB wire. This has been proven multiple times, and you get this choice when you set the Wii up, (check out engadgets start up video of the Wii).
