Vote on laws from the House that might go to the President for signing. Maintain the armed forces. Raise their own salaries every 2 weeks.

Well, they work hand and hand with Congress, the only thing than can not do is present appropriation bills, or initiate tax increases. They also must provide consent and advice to the President for special appointments. Once an impeachment process occurs, they are tried by the Senate. And if we still had a Vice Presidential election and one did not receive a majority vote, the Senate appoints one (this obviously doesn't apply anymore). Beyond that, they have equal power and responsibility to the house for all intent and purpose.

And another thing all the politicians should know is; Most people don't vote because they like a certain candidate; they vote for the "LESSER EVIL", because most of them are decieving, hypocritical losers.

Lie to get more from the people they serve
Do everything they can for the special interest that pads their wallets.
