Not necessarily - even for body hair. Genetics determine most of this. Not really true.

Not really-testosterone determines where you have hair, like facial hair in males and none to miniscule in females-the thicker your hair means you are eating good quality Protein with mostly all the Amino Acids(essential) in the protein you eat so it all gets used by the body. Hair is mostly all protein. If by chance a female has more than she should have testosterone (male and females both have just in different amounts) she'll get for example facial hair but not necessarily thicker hair.

There are at least two kinds of testosterone. One kind determines if you are a male or female and is responsible for your sex drive. The other kind of testosterone does have a detrimental effect on the hair follicles on the heads of men who will eventually become bald or experience pattern baldness -- that same kind of testosternone which causes baldness, however, triggers body hair growth in men. That is why bald guys generally are extremely hairy otherwise, usually having especially hairy chests. Yet, it is very possible for these same guys to not have much of a sex drive because they have low levels of the other kind of testosterone.

Testosteron ranks among the group of androgens and is the most important male sex hormone. Also with women in the ovaries and in the suprarenal body crust Testosteron in small quantities is produced. It increases the Libido of the woman, leads however with a surplus to a general Vermännlichung

It may stand true for the hair on your body or facial hair but there are other factors that effect your hair density and thickness of your hair. If you have the right amount of Dihydro testosterone(DHT) in your body you'll have the right amount of bodily and facila hair..lack of it makes u clean and more of it would make u bald and lose hair. Cortisones in your body also define the thickness of hair..so its complicated. Testosterone in various forms can cause various changes. Hope it helps :-)
