Why are males quiet during sex?
It's a bit strange in my opinion. The Y Chromosone compared to the X is missing a lot which can explain the nature. But males are usually loud, but during sex they are not.
Why so?

First, I'm gay. Second I had sex with several other people, even though I'm 17. Third, I talked to a lot of females about their expirences and they all stated that the guy was queit.

Because making sounds during sex is considered having an emotional outburst; and making noise would be too emotional!

I think that this question has a lot less to do with chromosomes and a lot more to do with cultural sexual scripts. I was just having a conversation about this today with Draco infact.
here is that convo. I will follow this with more indepth information concerning your question:
"ps there are many more forms of sexuality, than the media portrays. And even people who are voluntarily socially asexual/nonsexual. When I was in both psychology and sociology classes, I was introduced to a concept of social sexual scripts, say, picture actors learning parts to a play, people are social actors and they are handed scripts that a society writes regarding what is erotic and how one goes about reacting to and initiating erotisism. How to begin and when to end are things that society teaches us. These scripts are not universal, but change from culture to culture, and even from sub or regional culture to culture. etc. There are many ways for one to be sexual if one desires, as it is, the brain is the largest sex organ (also something I learned in psychology class. this isn't just a figure of speech, it is quite literal. We can learn what is sexual and then learn how to react to it, our brains are learning and then passing on how it learns we are supposed to respond to the rest of our body. imagine the possibilities then, if one was not constrained only by our cultural scripts, but if one explored and created their own scripts, unique to one's own body."
What people do during sexual acts vary from culture to culture and most certainly person to person. Perhaps what you are observing is a cultural construct of masculinity, where masculine beings are expected to be emotionally reserved and "in control"
however, it is important to remember that there are many forms and expressions of many masculinities. So, being reserved an in control might not be considered masculine by some other cultures' standards. And masculinity is often archetyped (a concept based on an ideal preferred standard that is not necessarily a biological or static reality but that many people try to achieve)
as far as x and y chromosomes go... those have very little to do with gender, and do not even gaurantee what one's body will look like regarding anatomical sex. a person can have a complete 46xy kerotype (considered the male chromosome pattern) and have a vagina and breast developement without medical help.
I'm the director of a gender education community, and the co-director of an intersex education community.
Curious to know more? I've put some links below ^_~

Perhaps you should meet more males so you can see how we are not all the same? I know lots of males who are not loud, usually or otherwise, self included.
To claim genetics is the cause for such a specific behavior, I would also suggest that you take a genetics class. Humans vary much, much more between individuals than they do between any grouping, including sexual groups.
To answer your question: my experience does not bear it out.

Why are women LOUD during sex? Nothing wrong with quiet. Maybe they're just enjoying the moment.

Not all guys are quiet for one I am not. I love making noise during sex. It kind of depends on the person if they are really into it they most likely will make some sort of noise.

I'm gonna go with social gender conditioning on this one. Girls are supposed to be "weaker" etc (not saying that they are by nature, but that they're more likely to be because they grew up hearing that they should be), and maybe it's a sign of strength, control, restraint and all that for men? That's my guess.

You are either very young or very inexperienced or very stupid. Why in the world would you think that males do not make noises during sex.
Ah so, Grasshopper, you judge the world not by what you learn from others, but only from what you learn from yourself.

Cuz we have to quiet when we masturbate cuz we are more likely to get caught. So, it crosses over to sex we so use to being quiet while having pleasure.
