Hello, I'm from Mexico and a teacher said to me and my class that in Canada there's a day or season in which people move out to another region or city or house or something, and I was wondering if it's true.... so... is it?

well, he says that your country is very open to changes, so in that "spirit" people changes fast, from work and even from their houses... but that sounds crazy to me, so I wanted to now

This occurs in the city of Montreal, where leases on apartments and rented houses generally all expire simultaneously on June 21. Among those (relatively few) people whose leases expire on that day, there is, of course, a flurry of activity as people empty their old houses and move to new ones.

So why do leases all end on the same day? Good question, but I suspect it has its roots in some hoary old legal precedent that cannot be easily reversed.

In the summer some people leave the city's and go camping to cottages at the lake, or in R.V.'s most Canadians I know do it for at least 1-8 weeks a year. I'm from Canada so I know. But not everyone can afford to do that mostly the wealthy take 8 weeks and the middle class take 1 or two weeks

I'm Canadian and I have no idea what you are talking about...do you mean retired people who go to the tropics and spend the winter months there?

Either your teacher is messing with you, or your perception of what your teacher said is wrong.
