A good life may or may not have a rich and/or famour life. A life is rich and good when you spend time for others, that is when you spend your life with those less fortunate and those suffers, and try to solve their problems. You can feel a sort of satisfaction and peace in your mind when you see someone has releaved from their pain because of you. Albert Einstin once said about life that "A life living for others is a life worthwhile". Being rich may give you comfortable in your materialistic life, but our life is not just materialism, we have soul and mind which should be peaceful and happy, then only we can say our life is a good life because it gives me mental happhiness and peace. Happiness comes from the peaceful existence of our mind and not because one is rich and famous. So you can say your life is good, if you have peace of mind and happiness, if not you have to find out what is wrong with you and have to correct it.

Being rich and famous doesn't make your life 'good', it just makes you rich and famous. Haven't you seen how celebrities moan about the camera in their faces? Haven't you noticed how they go through marriages like water? Is that a good life? I think not.
Figuring out what you were put here for and then doing it is what it's all about. That usually means helping your fellow humans out in some way, shape or form. Finding that is everything.
I've had money and I was very unhappy. Fame I could do without, it just seems to bring trouble. Who wants body guards around you all day?

All of these things are temporary. So a good life according to the Vedic understand is to transcend all of these desires for fame, wealth, beauty, power, intelligence etc. We have to come to the spiritual platform to actually gave real happiness. The rest is just temporary and always ends in misery or at least death. So one should aspire for the highest pleasure in life. Being at peace with yourself. if you can find peace in yourself then you will know happiness like you never have known before. I have found this peace a couple of times but it is elusive and the outside world keeps getting in the way. Good luck to you though.

To me the good life is having enough food on the table, being able to pay all my bills, having my family and friends around me and being loved...remember....it is not whom you have loved in your life but who loves you.

Being able to do some good for someone else, if I must choose one.
I believe our purpose on this earth is to get ourselves to heaven and everyone else we can.
To have true JOY, one must put
J esus first
O thers second, and
Y ourself last
Peace be with you!

i wouldn't really be able to enjoy all those other things if i walked past someone who needed help and couldn't help them. i'll go with ''being able to do some good for someone.''
