My favourite is definately Roy Orbison, and i think his loss was perhaps a greater shame than the loss of the likes of Lennon, Morrison, buddy holly, etc. because he had probably the greatest voice i have ever heard and he still had so much to offer. Another one would probably be Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers, who is seen by many as one of the great guitarists of all time (behind hendrix of course). He was one of the most innovative guitarists in his time which earned him acclaim all through the industry, particularly from his peers. Finally, i'll give a mention for Keith Moon. My personal favourite drummer of all time. However, he was only a drummer so perhaps his loss wasn't quite as important, also given the who had been at the top for so long.

Anyway, cheers.

properly, yeah, a gaggle of them are lifeless now. numerous died previously: buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, & John Lennon. yet another, Grace Slick, is in retirement with a uncommon ailment inflicting numerous swelling of the feet & unable to stand long in any respect. even though, she only positioned on an artwork coach final wkend (nevertheless she wasn't there). I observed a pattern portray revealed in the newspaper, a self-portrait as Alice in Wonderland, & I enjoyed it. Like all of us, she probably has a internet site; i haven't checked. the object mentioned she does distinctive artwork of rabbits because of the fact she's been around rabbits lots. additionally, because of the fact the object mentioned, she's somewhat solid, yet has a tendency to color the failings that sell. I heard the hot Jefferson Starship stay approximately 15 yrs in the past on the huge wellbeing & solidarity pageant, the place i grew to become into staffing an exterior sales area. They have been somewhat solid, & the lead singer sounded only like Grace Slick. think of that!
