I would go with some fashion jewelry. Try rhinestones. Clear stones go with anything, but many colors are available if you have specific top in mind. Don't match it though. pick a color that compliments so it brings out the top and jewelry. Maybe a fleur de lis pendant, huge fashion statement right now. For the earrings, simple hoops would go great.

Depends on the rest of the outfit. Since jeans are so versatile, you really have to decide based on the shirt, shoes, and hair. Are you going for a glam look? Basic t-shirt and sneakers? Polished professional? Have the jewelry match that part, as the jeans will go with anything. I've seen people wear everything from homemade hemp necklaces to diamond earrings with them successfully.

A single strand of small pearls if the shirt is white, black
or pink with lace around the collar. A medium gold chain
with matching earrings looks great. A pretty gold pin
with perhaps a single pink rose. Turquoise always
looks fantastic and will give your outfit a western look.
I wouldn't wear anything too big. Avoid the gaudy look
and maybe not any baubles. Diamonds always goes with
everything.

It depends on what your top looks like. Just don't get the dressy jewlery that you would wear to a business meeting or what not

i personally love pearls, they are elegent and classy but can be dressed down when wearing jeans.
simple hemp chokers are always a winner in my book as well
