No.
With "the good ol' boys" gone, he no longer has anyone to cover his butt when he plays "God". He is laying low to keep out of the cross hairs of the Dems as they go hunting for the responsible ones for the mess this country is in.

Naw, he still gets checks from Halliburton (differed compensation). That plus the gov. pension will keep him in the lifestyle he prefers without having to work. He'll miss being evil, though.
Expect him to clutch his heart (or the area where a human heart is normally found) and, together with a note from a doctor, resign for "health reasons" long before his two years are up. No chance Karl Rove would approach 2008 without a VP as a viable candidate to run for the presidency.

In my opinion, the Vice President is watching and waiting for his turn,Do not count him out yet? He knows the way around and he is extremely bright in his own agenda. You and I have to be careful about what he is going to do next. 3 trillion dollars are damage enough for our Beloved American people. 152,000 men and women in Iraq are costing family pain and agony. Believe me the money that he earns from his living is plenty, he does not need a new job and he can retire anytime. Now everyone will blame the Democrat for trying to clean up the Republican garbage, What's life? Remember,Republican out there do not blame the Democrat for raising taxes for National debt, I really want to laugh about Security bills that cost us 3 trillion dollars. Now I want to cry at the same time. Help?

Even my dad, a life-long Republican, has been waxing philosophic about Cheney resigning. If investigations into Iraq begin being conducted, it probably won't be long till he hits the exit....

He's got those Haliburton options just waiting for him, but once a snake, always a snake. He'll stay in politics and go out in a blaze of infamy.
