Where should I get my PS3, Wal-mart or Bestbuy? and how early should I get there?

Wal-Mart starts selling them at midnight of the 17th. I would go to wherever is selling it the cheapest.

Neither. Target is the place to go. Walmart and Bestbuy will have huge lines whereas Target is often overlooked for launch date electronic releases etc. If you haven't pre-ordered, plan on camping out overnight.
Having bought a Xbox 360 at launch, I would advise you to hold off. This would allow Sony to work out all the bugs prior to their next batch. Everyone knows the problems with the launch 360's.

definitely Best Buy because one time I bought a PSP game and some one had bought it and returned it because of a defect and the game didn't work for me either and Walmart said that no one had bought the game at first and they wouldn't give me my money back but then I got the cops invovled and they confessed and the cops made Walmart give double the amount the game was worth new. So now I never get any electronics at Walmart anymore

To be honest I reserved and im waiting monday morning at 100 am in front of best but chances are It'll be difficult only 400,000 are released to the entire America It's gonan be difficult I'm thinkin of waiting like 3 -4 years maybe the price will drop
