Land Snails....can I get one?

I would like to purchase a land snail...but I've found that the Large African Land Snails are illegal. I was wondering if there are any legal ones that I could get in the U.S.

yeh google it but be carful they seem great to start with but they get boring they dont do anyhing really. But if your really interested go ahead! I bought mine from a breeder on ebay. Fine things they are now massive. But if it is against the law you will have 2 accept this and look for a different pet.
