any damn place on earth
the power adapter (smps) unit input is rated 100 volts ac - 250 volts ac
hence, covers both usa & uk

only problem would be pin configuration of plug / socket
> best buy conversion socket in host country ( uk in u'r case ) at any local electrical stores / outlet
max. 2 us$ for the part
belkin makes universal convertors as do radio shack & others
lemme scan & i'll post link soon
http://www.world-import.com/WSS405.htm

specs would be 3 pin 5 amps

Yes. I travel to the UK with my US laptop and it works fine. My AC adapter auto switches for the voltage and so all I need is a plug adapter so it will plug in. Otherwise no problems.

DO NOT!!! I repeat, DO NOT us a voltage adapter from Radio Shack. If you must use a voltage adapter get a transformer (very heavy). I used the Radio Shack type and it created so much noise on the power lines I knocked out the whole neighborhood's DSL. I found out later they are illegal in the UK for this reason. It was a horrible mess and I was lucky to get out of the country alive. Luckily the Brits are very polite people and even though I caused them lots of pain and suffering, they let me off with a warning. (joke)

Check your AC adapter. Almost all of them will take 220v. You just need a plug adapter not a voltage adapter.

this is problematic to declare. The plugs are distinctive for starters and you do not comprehend what you're getting except you notice it in actual existence. what's incorrect with getting a pc from right here besides? you will get them airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust low-priced in case you go searching. we are conversing from £250 right here. it could probably artwork out greater low value.

what exactly do you mean by "work?" I'm sure you will be able to turn it on and you will be able to use it. you will have to be sure that the outlet you charge it in is 120v as opposed to 210v, or your computer will be fried.
