No lots of places hire 16 yr olds.

Heavens no! As long as he keeps his grades up, it's good for him to have a job or two. When I was 16, I had three jobs, as well as being an honor student. I had a job serving at a cafeteria after school, a job doing yard work for a crippled widow, and a weekend job babysitting. I also had a small loan business at school, but that ended after my first repo...
I paid for all my clothes and school lunches, as well as books and movies and the occasional bottle of wine. The main thing is balance. If his grades are good and he does school activities and church activities, a job would balance it all out. I wish him the best and good on him for being proactive.

That Depends. A 16 year old needs to become independant and find a sourrce of income, but if it's a shady job then maybe not.

Gosh no! I got my first job at 16. It's good to build up a work history when you're young.

Yes, beacuse at that age she should focus on school and achieve his dreams. On the other hand if he wants to take it as a part time to help out your parents thats good but he should focus on school work.

that all depends on where u live most states have a certain age that u can work but no i dont think he is im 15 and i work

no. he isn't he should be learning now. because sometimes if they aren't allowed to work they don't want to latter. he will feel good earning his own money.
