What do you hate about salespeople? What do you expect from them?

I like to be left alone until I have a question. I don't trust salespeople's opinions about products, they are there to make money. I like to take my time and do things without any pressure.

Whether I'm shopping for a high-end product or an inexpensive one, I expect to be treated with the best service possible. I want someone who is willing to help if I need it and who is in a good mood. A salesperson should treat customers like they want to be treated. I hate it when salespeople don't smile, act like you're burdening them and just don't do their job overall.

High end or low end, I want to be treated with respect. I dislike it very much when I am dismissed as a nothing when I am not purchasing top of the line. I also hate it when salespeople do not thank me for my business. I make every effort to smile and speak politely to the salesclerks and when I get sullen looks and a weak thank-you or in some cases, nothing at all, it's very, very irritating.

I expect to be treated like gold no matter what im purchasing.
I hate salespeople who work on commision and follow you around the store and keep bugging and bugginh you.
I expect them to be there when i need them and to be informative but to get away from me when I need time to process things and make decisions. I dont need them pressuring and pestering me.

I hate when salespeople try to steer me to a lower cost product because I may not look like I can afford what I'm shopping for. I had a car dealer refuse to allow me to test drive a $50k car, yup, told me I could drive it around the parking lot only. After I bought one from another dealer, I went back to the first one to show him mine.

whatever you are buying, people always love being treated like a queen. there are some sales people who tend to be a little too enthusiastic to make a sale, a little too pushy. But so far, I've been quite fortunate - haven't met too many of these yet.

I like to be greeted and asked if they can help me. If I do not have any questions or if I'm not ready to be helped I like to be left alone and not bothered or pressured into buying. I like friendliness, not pressure. I like questions answered, but don't want someone bothering me
