You can have a period and still be pregnant, it is not common, but not unheard of.
Get a pregnancy test to see if she is really pregnant. If her cycles are irregular, she might want to see a doctor about that, or start charting her cycles. A normal cycle can be anyhwhere from 22-45 days. With a home test, be advised that you can get false results.
If your friend is pregnant and starts to bleed, also consider that she might be having a miscarriage.

I have friend that did not know she was pregnant. She had her period the whole time. Went to the hospital with stomach pains. I would not believe this if I did not witness it first hand. So yes she could still be pregnant even with a period!

Yes....some women have regular periods and never even know they are pregnant til they deliver......take the test to be sure! I in fact didn't know until nearly four months along!
