Haven't yet reached this point, should happen sometimes this week to next week (she has weird periods, and has actually skipped one for 3 months once). But, I'm just curious if there is any chance of her still being pregnant after this will hopefully happen?

You can have a period and still be pregnant, it is not common, but not unheard of.

Get a pregnancy test to see if she is really pregnant. If her cycles are irregular, she might want to see a doctor about that, or start charting her cycles. A normal cycle can be anyhwhere from 22-45 days. With a home test, be advised that you can get false results.

If your friend is pregnant and starts to bleed, also consider that she might be having a miscarriage.

I have friend that did not know she was pregnant. She had her period the whole time. Went to the hospital with stomach pains. I would not believe this if I did not witness it first hand. So yes she could still be pregnant even with a period!

It happens but is uncommon. Go get a pregnancy test from the store to ease your stress.
