Yes. But you only burn songs ONTO a cd. I think you got your terminology mixed a little. When you insert a disc in the drive, Itunes should ask you if you want to 'import'. This is basically taking care of 2 things: saving it to your hard drive, and putting in the database of the player with all the other songs.

yea. ive done it a million times. but you wouldnt know what songs they were because they show up as : Track 01, Track 02 and stuff like that. you have to name them by hand
