Women have always used not only legal rights like custody of children but human rights like sexual enticement to get what they want. Of course men are the ones who mostly made laws as well as partake in the enticements women use. So who's the fool?..The fool or the fool that follows the fool? Men come out on the short end of that question.

Take a Gender Studies class and examine the evidence from a qualitative and quanitative perspective. Preferably a gender and power type class. It's very interesting, like did you know college professors give less helpful to female undergrads and male children are allowed to cry longer? Female children are less likely to get financial support for college, and while young girls have equal math abilities teachers regular rate their math skills lower than boys. It gets more interesting when you look into the power imbalances and the myths society holds- like in about half of the U.S. it is legal for a man to Rape his wife and about (I think) 40% of all high school/middle school age boys say that spending 15 dollars on a girl at dinner means you have the right to force her to have sex. In Sweden the gender roles are more equal whereas in the U.S. they are more seperated. In some tribal societies males actually act feminine (gossiping and "primping) and females act masculine (hunting and hating the little things about child care).

Well don't you think it is about time women had rights - we have lived in a patriarchial society for thousands of year. Women were slaves basically, when you look at this from a new perspective we just got to vote in the last 100 years, our fathers and husbands controlled our lives. If men had been under this type of control for thousands of years do you not think you would want to find the key to unlock the prison and never go back to what your mothers and those before her endured. Duh

Even though i am a woman...i have to agree...i think some women are taking too much advantage of the modern way of thinking. I think they are aging so much to be equal as guys that they forget the are actually women!...there is no way that guys can be the same as girls and viceversa.

As a girl myself I say no....but they (feminists) do get kind of annoying sometimes. Like when they complained that all the natural disasters were named after women. I thought it was pretty cool, but they obviously didn't. :sigh: Anyway. They're not over using it, they're just trying to catch up with men. Just put yourself in a women's high heels. (he he)
