Because for some reason, earlier in the day, you decided that was where you wanted to be. However the tone of the question expresses, to me, a little regret of that fact. The fact that you are alone, at home, on a saturday night is in no way a reflection of your status or potentiol. Girls too often fall into this mindset, where, if they are not at the popular places they are not popular. I am happy to stay at home on Saturday, as I prefer to go out on Tuesday and Thursday. Think about it. Less people... No lines... Best service... Cheaper prices and specials... Most importantly... you will never meet someone who "REALLY" loves you at a club or a bar. Those are houses of hook-ing-up! In my opinion if your hooking-up you are hooking and that means you are a hooker! I am happy to know you have too much self-repect to giveyourself away to a guy for a few moments of attention. ;-)

You're most likely alone because you're sitting here answering/asking lame questions on Yahoo answers.
Get out there and be seen and do something social! Or get a hobby!
I'm home on a Saturday night because I choose too.....so did you, obviously.

Why does it suck? Don't you like your own company? A lot of people are alone on Saturday night and don't mind it one bit. What is it you think you're missing? If it bothers you so much, why don't you get in your car and go to a pub or for a bite to eat?

You dont have to share the same hobbies as the other person. I am sitting here on Saturday night because my wife left me... and i have our son this weekend(by choice.) Dont DWELL on what is going on... let the actions take its course.
Communication is the KEY to a relationship.

I'm re-reading the question..."my future ex-wife"...hmmm future is future and ex is past. How did you put these two together? None the less, It's Saturday night and you chose to stay home. You prefered staying home, remember? You also must enjoy being miserable as your choice brought you the explanation "it sucks". Why would you choose to be alone?

There are worse things than being alone. You could have gone out with friends.

There is nothing wrong with church.Sounds like a saint to me why would you refer to a saint as a future ex?
Unless she is one of those who act like a saint but once you turn your back watch out.
