Why was it necessary for the bad guys to use the Golden Gate Bridge to get to Alcatraz? Wasnt that some pretty serious overkill?

The ieda was to creat a means to fight, solid ground. Alcatraz is a fort with no easy access to attack. The fort has the high ground. They changed that fact.

They did a bang up job on the graphics and pulled it off to a tee. Even the shadows of the bridge frame as it was moving across the water. Not all villians can fly and Alcatraz is where that lab building was, so it made sense.

Thats what you get when they picked the director of the Rush Hour movies-Brett Ratner. Bryan Singer did the first two Xmen and he produced/wrote/directed superman returns. Singer should have did the last one. This idiot ruined it.

Special effectsss was all that movie was about! No storyline whatsoever. They did it for the money.
