I have seen where people invite servicemen and women to their homes for thanksgiving or chiristmas meals that are stationed in their towns. I am interseted in this very much but can't seem to find anything on it. If ANYONE has ANY information about something like this PLEASE reply to this. And for all of the people who read this and are serving our country, THANK YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE AND UNFAILING DEVOTION TO THIS COUNTRY AND OUR HOMES!!!! again any information would be appreciated. thanks.

Do you live near a base? If so, I would call the base and explain what you want to do and see if they give you a number for the ombudsmen for a troop. Ombudsmen are usually a wife of a soldier in the troop. Maybe they can suggest a soldier that doesn't have a family near by or wont be traveling for the holidays.
