I'm really angry at one of my friends. She's been using me a lot lately, because she just broke up with her boyfriend and he's having fun without her. They just got back together two days ago, and now she won't even talk to me anymore. She'd been my best friend for years before they started dating, but as soon as they did, she ditched me to be with him all the time. I'm really angry with her, but I don't know how to tell her. What can I do?

Just sit down with her and tell her the truth and explain your feelings to her. BE HONEST and don't make it sound like you are blaming her or coming down on her about it. Just be as truthful and honest as you can. She may not even know that she is doing this. Be sure to listen to what she has to say too. Also make it a point to tell her how much you value your friendship. Hope this helps!

A. You have to talk to her if you value your friendship.
B. She probably has no idea how it has affected you.
C. She sounds like she needs a guy to validate her....hence her co-dependent behavior
D. You need to be chill about it though....as much as you have so many feelings about.
E. Say, I am so happy this is working out for you, and I know you want to spend as much time with him seeing as what you have been through with the breakup.....but I miss you!!! Can you work me in too....I am feeling a little neglected and used!! I know you don't mean it, but what about balance!!!!! You need the girlfriends!!!

tell her how you feel

although it is natural for people to spend less time with thier friends when they are in a relationship, its still wrong to completely ditch them
my best friend and i each have a boyfriend, but we set aside time for us to be together ('coz we love our girl talk!! ^_^v)
arrange for a lunch and talk to her about and organize a "girls-night-out" once a week to maintain your friendship
