Which one has a better program? Which one will offer you a better financial aid package? Which one is more affordable? Which one is closer to home?

The internet is a goldmine of information, if you're willing to do the work and look for it. Try searching for college ranking sites. Be flexible in your searches - you want to be a counselor, so search for "addiction counselor education", for example, but also search for related items, like "Psychology programs".

If neither one of them stands out in your mind, then you may need to keep looking at other schools.
