i met my heroes. a band that changed my life. and a lot of people think its stupid and juvenile to practically owe their lives to a silly little piece of music. has anyone else met their heroes? my life feels complete after a handshake and an autograph and a hug. is that strange? has anybody had an experience where they met someone they have looked up to for so long? isn't it just amazing?

the band i met was my chemical romance and i owe my life to them. their music gets me through the day. i don't care if you don't like them. repsect my opinions and i'll respect yours. anyways, just a curious question from a person who can't sleep.

It's not silly. It's great. I just hope one of them gets a chance to see your remarks.
I love MCR's music. I can't say they have changed my life in any way, but...um...Idk what it is about them. I'm a country music fan. They are pretty much the only rock I listen to. Their music is so...for lack of a better word...real. You can almost feel what Gerard is feeling when he's singing. It's from the heart. He has a weird way of subsiding the hurt and pain you feel. Almost like you aren't going it alone.

NOW WHO IS WEIRD??? LOL

I met my hero nearly sixty years ago. He changed my life. I have never had any reason to be disappointed in Him. I wish He never had reason to be disappointed in me, but unfortunately, I failed Him many times. He forgave every one. His name is Jesus Christ. I hope you know Him too. His love blesses my life every day. I don't know this band, but I hope the Lord used them to help you. If this isn't the case, call on Him to get The Real Thing.

i meet my hero in 99 she ended up being my very best friend (my sister by heart) she taught me that i was a good person and to speak up for myself and that i was worth more then being someones doormat she taught me that being me was ok and that i deserved to be loved... i went from a insecure person to a person who now believes i can do anything.. i am so glad that i met her but sadly she passed away in 04....
