it truly depends on where you live.
some places it's as high as $100 dollars..while others its $30 bucks.

call some local vets in your area and get prices....even among vets there will be a difference.

If done at the same time as vaccinations, it is an extra AU$35-45. This covers life long registration with the Animal Registry.

Have no idea what the cost is out of Australia

In Australia is costs $40 to Microchip. Some rescue shelters do it for less though.

Not sure how much it would cost out of Australia - probably around the same price though.

The only pets I have had microchiped are my two horses. I paid 75 dollars for each horse. But as for dogs and cats I don't know how much it costs. Just call your veterinarian and they will give you an estimate.

oftentimes your vet will implant the chip. the fee will variety reckoning on your veterinarian, yet I have been given our pets finished for a very sensible value whilst they have been already stepping into to get spayed/neutered besides. it somewhat is extremely speedy and painless, no longer even any stitches to are transforming into rid of later. i be attentive to that I even have heard fulfillment memories. often times misplaced pets are discovered through fact of a microchip and that i even heard one tale the place somebody misplaced a very useful pedigree canines and a number of of different persons have been claiming to be the vendors, through fact the owner had the canines micro-chipped, he replaced into waiting to show he replaced into the rightful proprietor. i think of they are an astounding thought as canines tags can fall off or get misplaced, plus in case you canines is stolen they maximum in all probability will in no way be attentive to till they take your puppy in to the vet or something and then they're going to would desire to describe how they won somebody else's puppy. for my area, they are an astounding thought.

depends on the vet and what brand they use. I work for a vet and we charge $39 to microchip. that does not include the enrollment fee of $17. That ensures that you are enrolled in the database, without that then microchipping does nothing

It is about $60 where I live, but if you keep your eye out at animal shelters (check their web sites) sometimes they run specials. I found one that was offering it for $5 one weekend only last month.
