I was actually thinking of fergie's song. The song "Give it All you Got" by Afro-Rican was 50 million times better.

I don't hate any form of artistic change. I may not care for rap mainly because I see it as talking a rhyme or lyrics with little actual singing talent. It is and will remain popular as teens always want to be different and identify with it. Most songs have been re-recorded many times. You will hear something you think is new and many times it is just and updated version of something done years before.

Artistic impression is always changing and some try to be inventive and others just try to ride on others work to make some money, and fame, those that use the work of others usually have limited talent.

Amen! I'm tired of hearing the beginning of a song, thinking it's a great re-recording, then hearing pure crap with lyrics that have nothing to do with the original song. What's the point of using it?! Why can't they just write their own music if they're not respecting the artist they're taking it from?

There are some who have done it justice, but only if they actually stay true to what the song was written about.

Great question!

When rappers remake an original song, they think of something different. Sometimes they make the song betta. And you are just talking about Fergie. I personally cant stand fergie. She is kinda pop instead of rap to ME. You shouldn't really be bashin rap music. I mean really, at least they have sense wen they are making their names. Some of there names are beyond bizarre!!
Think twice before bashin a certain music, cause the music that otha ppl listen to are way worse.

YES! I hate it when i hear a familiar beat, and then i hear some dufus raper that cant speak english butchering up the song.
When I hear the beat, i was getting ready for the original song, but instead i hear that rap garbage

most of the time it doesn't bug me too bad, but the one that drives me insane, almost to the point where it actually makes me angry, is that one Lil Jon song, I think it's called "Let's Go"? Where they sampled "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne. They massacred that song, and I can't believe Ozzy actually agreed to letting them do so.

nas and d4l lol thats hella humorous yet anywayz , i might want to pay interest 2 da total song if it replaced into solid, may to boot have the hated rapper going up if my prominent artist respects him, yet when it sucks then they both flow down

It sucks, definitely. It's like they think that the song "needed" their lyrics added in to be good.
