life's hard u know but why?I'm 25 and tired of living in the ghetto.My cousin was shot a couple a days ago and i loved him death.If i catch who did I'm kill 'em i've made it my buisness.My daddy still in jail got 7 years to and then he gon go back i kno he gon die there for sho.My ma a crackhead about ten minutes away i was left to raise my little sister by myself and she 15 her smile is so cute it causes violence and sometimes i wonder what she's up to.makes me worry.and we strugglin with the money.all friends is stuck here in the ghetto with me, their confused and caught up in gangs and drugs and such.But if life is so hard then what makes it worth the livin?i've lost to much and to many people for it to matter n-emore and thinking of dying.i need help i need advice.

Life is tough to make you who you are meant to be. A responsible loving brother. It tkes a lot to raise your little sister. She needs you to guide her. Get a good job and get out of the ghetto. You can do it. Many folks have had tough lives, but end up successful and happy. It takes hard work and faith. Hold on and tomorrow could be the day it all changes. You never know!

This is going to be really hard for you because you have family and friend there, but pack your things, and take a little money and move. Take a train somewhere or a bus, stop in that area and live in a hotel for a day or two and get a job somewhere as a waitress or whatever until you can find a place to live and a better job. I had 3 boys and left my husband who abused me. I took my boys and we lived in different motels 150 miles away from my home in a small town until I found a job and got an apartment. It took 5 years, and now I live in a nice house near a big park. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

I know it's rough. But whenever I have these pity parties, God always shows me someone who is more worst off than myself which would turns me around and I begin to look and the good things that are in my life...for instance...health and strength...Some people have ALL the money in the world and can't enjoy it because they're ill or they don't have anyone to enjoy it with. There are other things to be grateful for...your talents...gifts...what you have accomplished ....big or small up to this point.
Sorry to hear about your lost...I know it hurts...go thru the pain...until you feel better. Allow yourself to grieve.
Now about getting out of the ghetto: Pray....make some plans...Start seeing yourself in a new environment. Speak it out loud. "I'm outta here!" Ask God to guide your life...and your sister's to make difference. Go back to school...get your education. Just because your mom and dad aren't there for you...God will send other mentors your way....JUST DON'T GIVE UP...K? Life is worth living.

You can do whatever you put your mind to. If you want out of your current lifestyle all you have to do is be determined enough to do something.
move. go to school. get job training. take a minute of your day to show the people in your life that you love them. stop the violence. There are all kinds of resources avaliable to help. Yahoo it.
You may not be able to do anything more for you friends except set a good example.
Life can be a struggle... especially when your young. I'm proud of you for taking care of your lil sis.. she needs you. especially now. 15 is rough

ok all i can say is move somewhere out of the ghetto...you should rent a VERY small INEXPENSIVE apartment with your sis and start raising some money ...get a good job and encourage your sister to do good in school...NEVER GIVE UP....i mean if you gave up it wouldnt be fair for your sis..DO IT FOR HER think about her future give her a better life than the one you had...good luck:-)

Life is tough and some people go through things that no one should ever have to go through. First of all i'm going to pray for you and your family and their situation. Second you need to get outta there for your sake and your sisters. Take care of each other. Look up a shelter that can help you and try to make it better. Life is hard but it IS worth living. Your life is valuable take care of yourself. Good luck with everything. Turn to HIM when you need help, HE will get you through

life is only as hard as we make it. of course its not going to be all fun and games.
think about the people that u still have. like your sister. think about all the postives that r in your life and not all the negatives. besides with hard work u can turn your life around. just be happy and think about how blessed u r to have what u have. like your life and your sister. there r a lot of people that don't have anybody. hope this helps u.

i think u should move its not really safe there for u and ur sister maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea to see a counselor and to me it sound like u may be think of suicide but i wouldnt ur sister need u adn if ur anything like me and my sister (shes 26 and im 15) we live together and talk about everything u should try talkin to ur sister

Go back to school part time and study hard, get a job and save money, stay to yourself while your doing this. It is very hard to leave an area when you have nothing but yourself. It can be done, believe me.
