Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

Terrorists ARE A THREAT!
BUT
No matter how many freedoms are sacrificed on the alter of "injustice" we will still have injustice - but we will not have Liberty."

Stop advocating the rape of my civil liberties! If you want them let them listen to your phone go ahead, If you dont want your 4th amendment rights, whatever, I dont love liberty enough to want to force it upon anybody else. But terrorists or not...im keeping MY BILL OF RIGHTS.

And the only terrorists that have taken those away are in washington.

What part of ALL Americans are against terrorists do you not get? As far as you go, the terrorists have already won. You are doing exactly what they want, listening to their chatter about our politics. They flap their mouths and you jump. They don't give a damn about who is in the White House, or which party has control of the House and Senate, they give a damn about us all dying, not just Republicans, not just Democrats, but ALL of us. They make statements they know will upset Americans, that's why they do it, that's why they've always done it. If we have an attack on our soil tomorrow you'll fall right in line with what they want and blame it on the Democrats. They feed on our political divisiveness in this country, why are you helping them to succeed in dividing us? Take a cue from the President I'm sure you love and learn about what it means to work together in bipartisanship. Bush, to my surprise, immediately stated a desire to work with the Democrats, not against them. It's the first time I've felt real respect for the man in quite some time. If you like his Adminstration so much then listen to what he's saying about working together, it's the only chance we have to get out of this mess intact.

The answers, in general, show little or no realization of the threat the Islamic Terrorists pose to every civilized nation in the world.

They talk of fear as eroding our civil rights - what does it take to scare them? Only an insane or suicidal person would not fear this threat. More importantly, what does it take to wake them up from their illusion that some people just don't subscribe to the Golden Rule?

A beheading? Dragging and burning Americans in the streets? The indiscriminate murder of thousands of innocent men, women and children? A demented ideology of death to all infidels? More suicide bombings? Even more innocent deaths at the hands of these psychos?

What do these dirt bags have to do to convince them that they are our enemy? They want to kill them and their family and all of their loved ones.

I know it's not what they want to believe, but, make no mistake - we will have to fight these extremists sooner or later, on their turf or ours - it's inevitable.

Perhaps even more so since Nov.7th.

Ryan R: Ben Franklin never met an fanatical, Islamic terrorist who wanted to separate his head from his body. Also, he spent way too much time with the French in Paris.

My question for Liberals is : How many gay bars, abortion clinics, ACLU and NOW chapters are there in Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran?

Libs ignore oppression of civil liberties by Radical Islamics that Conservatives would never consider inflicting. You get the feeling that the only time Libs would go to war is against Conservative Christian Republicans. Well, there's your sign!

It is what the Nation needed... a wake up call to the dangers within. Now America will see the liberals fro what they are. Power crazed liars who will destroy even their own nations moral to gain power. They counted the dead American Solders with glee. Lets just hope the President Bush grows a set of balls and stands up for America because he is all that left to stop them. Get the veto pen out and ink it up.

The audio you mentioned was aimed at Bush and Rumsfeld. So was the comment about the White House. William Buckley, conservative commentator forever called our mission in Iraq "Lunacy!" We have reduced one of the Holiest places in Islamic History to rubble, while having hundreds of thousands of Iraqi casualties. There might be a reason for "terrorists" to be upset with Bush and Rumsfeld.

"Liberals," and Democrats in general, are not sympathetic to the plight of terrorists. Democrats simply want the U.S. Constitution followed. Part of being an American is the sacrifice of "fool proof security," if you will, in favor of freedom. For us to be a free society, we must accept that there are some dangers that come with that liberty.

As Benjamin Franklin once said, “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

the republicans have been the terrorists best friends. Their actions have put out the calling card and increased support for Al Queda on an international level, and 1000 fold over what it was.

To say, or even 'think' that the Liberals are somehow friends of the terrorists is frankly... stupid. You're believing the crap that the republicans spewed to control your mind (or at least vote) last week. It has nothing to do with reality.

Dear Republican anearch...Your spelling is a reflection of you low education, and I apologize if I am presuming you are not a foreigner, in which event you would have a good excuse for low level and inarticulate English. Now I do not mean to insult you, but you have raised the topic; and it is my duty to point out to all who are reading this ridiculous statement that MR REPUBLICAN ARCHAE whatever is a perfect example of the type of person who the fear mongering has succeeded in reaching; NOT SMART PEOPLE. Unfortunately there are too many voters like him and the Republican mean machine knows how to reach these people.

These people sit in their miserable fear and vote on the crap they have been brainwashed with. Vote fear vote fear vote fear.

Well Dr Mr Ignoramus, fear I will not vote, because it does no good. Let me tell you what your fear vote has cost:
It has cost more AMERICAN lives than 9/11-
3000 dead soldiers; your fear vote has maimed thousands of Americans, taken dads away from wives as they give birth to new babies, killed 600,000 Iraqi civilians.
So dont give me your BS-wake up and smell the real blood.

That said, try using th spell check so you do not give your grade status away..what is it 4th?

Liberals can't understand that people sometimes hate you for absolutely no reason whatsoever. They aren't mentally tough enough to send out people and kill the terrorists by any means possible. For all their vaunted intelligence that seems pretty dumb to me.

Not to say that George Bush has done everything right though.
