ok ok.... just so u know this..
a real pal wouldn't point out things like that!!!
i know that im better than my friends in somethings..
but i also know that they are alot better in other things..
that i just wont ever compare to...
she might just have a big ego..
let her know that she is human..
therefore she too has some flaws....
when ppl do this...
its usually to hide something..
i know that i pretend to be confident..
so that no1 realizes that i am very insecure about my self..
im not sayin to end the friendship because when that 'pal' of urs..
gets off or gets thrown off that high horse that shes in..
she will need someone there..
but i am sayin u should let her know that she isnt perfect..
and ur better in some things.
just like shes better than u in other things...
so it all ends up balancing off..

You say you have a "friend" that thinks she is better than you. Are you feeling insecure or is she really not a friend. If she is a friend you should talk to her about it.

Try to talk about why she is so competitive and everything should be just fine.

If she is a good friend on other levels, then she is a keeper.
If she isn't the toss her.
If her trying to be better irritates you, then toss her.
Friendship is supposed to be easy and non confrontational.
If it is, don't bother.

Please, you deserve better friends than that. Just remember one thing, if she acts like she thinks shes better than you she is probably jealous of you and feels she needs to act like she thinks she's better.
