I've tried multiple ways, have gotten kinda far, yet not far enough to do any significant travel.
Does anyone here have any effective techniques they can tell me?
I've looked all over the internet and haven't found something that worked..

You haven't found something that worked because there isn't anything. OBEs are usually figments of the imagination. Those that get genuine ones have some considerable spiritual advancement. You could try learning Transcendental Meditation. At least that way you'll learn something more precious and less exciting.

It is actually dangerous to have obe because one can actually get stuck and die. When one is sleeping we have many outer body experiences. Sometimes people die in their sleep being they don't get back to the body in time. Go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com
