The WMDs that were found in Iraq hardly qualified --they were obsolete and no longer of any use, except as an excuse to say Iraq had WMDs. Now, granted, just because no significant WMDs have been found in Iraq doesn't mean they aren't there or weren't moved out of Iraq before the US invaded. But they aren't there /now/, and even the weapons inspectors, who admit it was the US who ordered them out and not Iraq, say there weren't any WMDs there. WMDs isn't the reason the US is in Iraq.

There were no WMD's in Iraq. This was a lie to justify the USA attacking Iraq and sadly many Americans believed these lies.

They Lied About the Reasons for Going to War!

Among the many justifications that the administration relied upon in the months leading up to invading Iraq were:

(1) To protect the American people from an urgent and imminent threat of a WMD attack by Saddam Hussein;

(2) To enforce UN resolutions requiring Saddam to disarm; and

(3) To liberate the Iraqi people from Saddam’s tyranny.

The first justification was the one on which most Americans relied. In the critical months leading up to the invasion, which we here at FFF were ardently opposing, we were being inundated every day with critical emails taking us to task for not trusting our public officials, who obviously had access to secret information that they could not share with the public. There was no doubt that the senders of those critical emails were convinced that the United States was under an urgent threat of an impending WMD attack. “What would you do?” they nervously asked. “Wait until the nuclear bomb goes off?”

Most think that they are in Syria. However in April of 2006 there was some mustard gas found in Iraq, with a few others.
Mustard gas is one that is still causing problems for the French from the the first world war.

Iraq had so much warning that we were coming they had the time to have them smuggled out with the help of the Russians

because we gave them over 3 months to move them and hide them before we went in.

we cannot find one teenaged girl in aruba that probally wants to be found
how are we supposed to find WMD's in iraq and not transported throughout the middle east.

IMO sadam, while vile and disgusting, is not stupid. how many time - don't remember if it was 9 or 14 that we said -- we're coming to check, we're coming to check - and the bureaucracy didn't allow. think about it - when you tell your child - i'm coming to inspect your room because i think you're smoking pot -- mind you you also tell them the day and time -- trust me - there will be no pot in the room on said day/date.

BTW - sadam himself was the biggest weapon of mass destruction. he used to call the school children out to watch the hangings. he had hospitals that were svengali in their testing - he was/is a madman!
