-So will I be accepted to UCLA or Berkeley? Any suggestions to make my profile better? like (SAT... communityservice...volunterring in hospital)

It's really hard to say nowadays, they seemingly accept people on a whim sometimes. I guess it depends on what your intended major is as well.

But just from what you have written, I would say you definitely have a chance. I think your best bet would be to write really good personal statements, and maybe try to improve your SAT scores a little bit in December (is it too late?).

hmm. i actually got into both ucla and berkeley and i actually had really low sat scores...like 500 straight across...i didn't pass many AP tests..only three. i took time to get involved in many clubs and joined tennis. umm it's hard to predict. what is your rank? if it is solid (at least in the top 20 or 10) then i say you would have a good chance. i was rank 2 actually but my school was not a top private school or anything. i came from a low income background as well. so yea, best of luck and i'm pretty sure you'll get accepted. just have a good statement!!
